"Doubles has always been my passion and is the best way to enjoy tennis"
When I first started coaching I immediately wanted my clients to be able to play independently of a coach and enjoy playing tennis for their lifetime. As most of the social and club competitions were doubles and that was my main passion it made sense to focus on teaching them how to play good doubles rather than only work on technique. More recently I developed my methodology to make sure my clients were learning how to play relevant to their level rather than trying to play like the pros.
I developed my women’s specific doubles methodology after I had written the content for the LTA Coach Better Doubles CPD and Pair and Play.
Being a female coach I wanted to target specific areas where women’s doubles was different to mens taking into consideration, physical, mental and technical differences which effects the tactics that women use and need to learn to compete at a good level.
I now teach mainly at 3 different venues in South West London where I have over 60 women in my regular programme with groups from different clubs playing regularly and joining me abroad for tennis holidays.
